| Donderdag 12/7 DJ : "A-WAX (HALVE NEURO)" Boat has been working as a party dj extraordinaire for years, spinning everything from hiphop to hardrock for invariably enthused crowds. Recent gigs include local festivals, venues like Cargo & the likes of clubs like Petrol, Café Capital (Antwerp)...As a deejay and a music producer, his focus is on many different styles, always creating one sound with a definite rock'n'roll attitude... As a skilled guitar player, he already contributed to several hiphop studio sessions, improvisation jams with turntablists and live funkrock bands. DJ Boat plays different genres of music, 'eclectic freestyle', or breakbeats in the broadest sense: funk, soul, jazz, rare grooves & breaks, (ol'skool) party hiphop, electro-hiphop, '90s boombap, dancehall, (hip)house, rave, jungle, d'n'b, dubstep, digidub and electronics; but also party anthems, dance, discofunk, rock, afrobeat and soundtrackstuff. LIVE MUSIC : "VALLEY OF ROUX" "Valley of Roux is een zacht maar krachtige samenklank van twee hedendaagse muzikanten: Valerie Van Roey (zang en gitaar) en Ruben Machtelinckx (gitaar). Nu ook met gastmuzikant Daniël Pastene (klarinet). Ze creëren een interessant, intiem kleurenpalet van klanken en akkoorden dat beïnvloed is door o.a. muzikanten uit Scandinavië.
